About Hatchi

Meet Hatchi! This soulful young adult Akita/Siberian Husky mix is a lively presence in Roseville, CA. Hatchi boasts a striking tricolor coat and weighs around 90 pounds, enveloped in a loyal and tender heart. He’s adapting to life with one eye due to stabilized glaucoma, so he may be startled by sudden movements, particularly during walks. Because of this, he needs a confident, experienced caregiver to help him feel secure. Hatchi walks strong on a leash and can be reactive to passing dogs, cats, bikes, and cars, making it essential that his owner has a good grasp of positive reinforcement and patient training. Despite his reactions, Hatchi is a loving, snuggly companion who thrives on affection and eagerly responds to treats. He’s crate trained, house trained, and gets along well with children aged 7 and 8. While he might enjoy the company of a calm female dog, he does not get along with cats. Daily care for Hatchi involves administering eye drops, which are manageable thanks to his love for treats. A fenced yard is crucial for him to explore safely, tapping into his Husky curiosity. He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, ready to embark on a new chapter filled with structure and love. With the right support, Hatchi could bloom into an extraordinary companion, always eager to be by your side. Does your heart have the guidance he needs to flourish? If you're interested in welcoming Hatchi into your home, please email meetme@joyfulpets.com for more details about adopting him.
