About Linnaeus
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Meet Linnaeus, a charming senior Chihuahua in search of a loving home. This quiet little guy has lived a full life, and after the loss of his devoted owner, he’s ready to find a new family who will cherish him. With excellent manners, he makes crate training a breeze, often settling into his crate without needing the door closed. Don’t expect him to wake up early; a morning visit will likely send him right back to snoozing! Linnaeus is completely cat-tolerant and enjoys being your loyal companion throughout the day. He also has a funny side, favoring human snacks over kibble. With time, he grows more affectionate and will happily seek out scratches and pets. Though he prefers to keep his independence and isn’t a fan of being picked up, he appreciates a gentle lift when necessary. Having some minor senior vision and hearing sensitivity, he may softly whine to ensure you’re close by. Just a little guidance is needed during outdoor walks to help him navigate curbs safely. If you're patient and ready to give a wonderful senior the peaceful retirement he deserves, consider meeting Linnaeus. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
