About Ember

Meet Ember! This lovely senior German Shepherd is looking for a family to enjoy her golden years with. Ember was born in December 2016, making her nearly 10 years old. She embodies all the wonderful traits we admire in older dogs—calm, affectionate, and happiest just being by your side. Life changed for Ember when her former owners could no longer care for her, yet despite this transition, her sweet and trusting nature has remained intact. She’s great with children and wonderful with other dogs, making her an excellent family companion. Ember is spayed and vaccinated, recently completing her vet checks with flying colors. Weighing in at 103 pounds, she could stand to lose about 20 pounds, but that won't hinder her joy in life. She enjoys leisurely walks, lounging in air conditioning, and even has a fondness for playing with water from a hose. Though she has a bit of strength and may pull on the leash, her easygoing, affectionate personality shines brightly, especially when sharing space on the couch. If you’re seeking a loyal companion who encourages you to appreciate the simple joys in life, Ember would love to meet you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
