Meet Tex!! Tex is just a little baby, trapped in a giant body. Tex is BIG, goofy, wildly playful, and currently operating with zero manners, We're just being honest here. Personal space? Never heard of it. Calm entrances? Impossible. Sitting politely? He's trying his best.... probably... This lovable goofball is still very young and desperately needs a family willing to give him guidance, structure, and training so he can learn how to channel all that excitement into becoming the amazing dog he's meant to be! Underneath all the chaos is an incredibly sweet dog who just wants attention, love, and someone to help him figure things out. He's super affectionate, adorable, and has the kind of silly personality that makes it impossible to stay frustrated with him for long. One look at that sweet face and you'll understand why he keeps getting away with everything. We have been working with Tex on simple commands like sit, and stay, but he will need lots of extra work to get him on track. He is quick learning though, so that shouldn't be a problem. Tex will thrive with an active family who understands that young dogs don't magically know how to behave-- they need patience, consistency, exercise, and a leader willing to teach them. With the right person, Tex has all the potential in the world to grow into a loyal, fun-loving best friend. Tex loves other dogs, he has been to many adoption events and loves playing with the other dogs at the events. He is extremely playful and affectionate when meeting new friends.. If you have a smaller dog, it would be wise to create boundaries with Tex as he does not yet understand that small dogs are not equal to his size! He is not harmful, by any means, he just loves to play. If you're looking for a dog you can shape, train, laugh with, and grow alongside, Tex is ready to be your oversized shadow and favorite daily adventure!
