About Iris

Iris is a striking 4-month-old female Labrador Retriever mix who found her way to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley after being discovered by a Good Samaritan on Salem Ridge Road in Waterford, Ohio. Sporting a sleek black shorthaired coat with a charming patch of white on her chest, she has an adorable face highlighted by dark brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and those delightful extra-large ears that perk up when she’s excited. Iris is a fun little bundle of energy, always ready to engage in playful antics. Treats make her eyes light up, and she’s a big fan of those 'good girl' rewards. With a current weight of about 18.6 lbs, she is still growing into her medium-size frame. Although she hasn't been spayed yet and is not house trained, she's full of potential and ready to learn. Remember, she will be held for the required three-day stray hold to allow her previous family a chance to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Click apply to start the adoption process.
