Blue is a striking young female, about a year and a half old, likely a Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier mix. She arrived at HSOV in Marietta, OH as a nervous newcomer, unsure about her noisy surroundings and the sudden change of scenery. Once moved to a larger kennel, she settled in with a bit more ease and started to come out of her shell. Blue sports a chocolate brown coat with a big white patch on her chest, and there’s a white tip on her tail that stands out as she moves. Her dark amber eyes and liver-colored nose frame a gentle, expressive face, set off by a long, slender muzzle and short, floppy ears. As a growing girl, Blue weighed in at 57 lbs when she arrived and still has some filling out to do. She’s young and responsive, posing sweetly for outdoor photos and sitting patiently as asked. Blue is spayed and current on her rabies vaccine, so she’s ready to meet adopters or foster-to-adopt families.
