Alaska is a beautiful 3-year old female Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on August 29, 2025 after she was found on Township Road 73 in the Belpre Ohio area. Alaska was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This pretty girl has a black short smooth coat with a large patch of white on her chest, white paws, a long tail, and a lovely face with dark brown eyes, a dusting of white on her muzzle, and floppy ears. Alaska is a fairly big dog who weighs 83 lbs, and she has already been spayed. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Alaska will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
