About Symphony
Symphony is a beautiful blue merle female Australian Shepherd with striking two blue eyes. Approaching her second birthday in June, she has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on vaccinations. This shy girl is still adjusting to her new life after being under-socialized. In the beginning, she would often hide in her crate, startled by normal household noises. Thankfully, Symphony is starting to explore her surroundings and now enjoys cuddling on the couch with her foster family and their dogs. She still tends to run and hide when scared, so potential adopters should be aware that she could escape easily when frightened. Though she enjoys her walks, she feels overwhelmed by unfamiliar sights and sounds. Symphony is crate trained and enjoys her crate as a safe space. During the day, she is free to roam the house, often quietly spending time while her foster dad works from home. She gets along well with the resident dogs but isn’t quite ready to engage in play; she prefers to lounge nearby or snuggle a bit. for the best outcome, Symphony would thrive in a calm household, preferably with older, quieter children. A patient family who understands her need for gentle introductions and time to adjust will really help Symphony blossom. She is ready to find her forever home, where she can bond at her own pace.
