About Mary
Mary is a lovely 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who finds herself back at Animal Control after being adopted as a puppy. While we wish her story took a different turn, we still hold hope that her perfect forever home is out there. She’s a sweet girl, though a bit timid when meeting new people. Mary takes time to trust and feel at ease, so her ideal adopter will be patient and understanding. Once she feels secure, you will gain a loyal companion and best friend. Mary is most comfortable around women and would thrive in a quiet home with a gentle owner who allows her to adjust on her own terms. She’s sensitive and needs someone to help her bloom at her own pace. Interestingly, she tends to come out of her shell with the company of other dogs; she gets along well with canine friends and loves to play outdoors, especially splashing around in her kiddie pool on warm days. Mary is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, ready for her next chapter. While she may not instantly win over everyone, those who offer her patience and love will be rewarded with Mary’s unwavering devotion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
