AvailableMeet Blaze, a handsome male Boxer located in Hays, KS. This playful adult has a short coat and weighs around medium size. Blaze is house trained and is not yet neutered. He is ready to find a forever home with an understanding family. He's not vaccinated yet, so he will need some extra care in his new environment, but he brings a lot of joy and energy into the lives of those around him.
About Blaze
Blaze is currently ready for play but won’t be available for adoption until his neuter is completed. We’re waiting to set that appointment, so please check back for updates. Introducing Blaze! This charming 4.5-year-old Boxer has a warm, friendly demeanor but might feel nervous in new situations, requiring a patient family to help him adjust. He was surrendered alongside his buddy Mia, but don’t worry, they don’t need to be adopted together. While not aggressive, Blaze tends to be more comfortable around women and may act protective around unfamiliar men. We believe neutering will help alleviate this behavior. When you visit, remember not to judge him through the kennel. Blaze's loud bark can be intimidating, yet once he's outside, you'll discover a joyful, playful pup who loves to zoom around the yard. He’s good with kids he has known, although caution is advised until he gets used to them due to his high energy. For safety, we’re looking for a home without small children. Blaze does not get along with cats and can be quite pushy with other dogs, so he’ll need to meet any resident dogs before adoption to ensure compatibility. He is house trained and ready for a loving home. Come meet Blaze today!
