About Ladybird

Ladybird is in urgent need of a loving foster home. This resilient hound mix recently faced immense challenges, giving birth to twelve puppies while battling a severe uterine infection. When we first noticed her exhaustion, we thought it was from motherhood, but it turned out her body was quietly fighting a serious illness. After emergency surgery, she’s now recovering, but Ladybird deserves more than a shelter kennel for her healing process. She needs a calm, nurturing space where she can relax and regain her strength. Ladybird is heartworm positive and will require follow-up care, which will be managed through the shelter. This sweet girl gave everything to her puppies, even while her own health was at risk. Now, it’s time for her to feel safe and valued. If you can’t foster, please help by sharing her story. Someone out there might be the perfect match for this wonderful dog. Every little bit helps. Can you give her the home she deserves?
