About Sammy
Meet Sammy and his brother Dean, two hound mixes on the lookout for a forever home where they can stay together. Sammy is the red-coated, shorter sibling, while Dean sports green and stands taller. Both were adopted out as a pair—just too good a match to separate—and lived side by side until spring 2025, when circumstances outside their control brought them back to the rescue. They’re now around five years old, with plenty of energy and a happy, social outlook. Sammy is friendly and enjoys meeting new friends, but his real bond is with Dean; the pair are glued at the hip yet socialize well with other dogs and have been around children. They grew up near cats but never had much direct contact. Both boys are neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted, so they’re set for new adventures. Curiously, Sammy was born under the sign of Aries, which means he brings a confident, spirited energy to the mix. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
