About Maxwell
Meet Maxwell! Say hello to Maxwell, a big, goofy, and loveable boy who found himself in need of rescue through no fault of his own. Surrendered by his family, Maxwell's heart is still healing from that loss, but this incredibly sweet and playful boy is ready for a safe, loving forever home. Maxwell came to us when his previous family could no longer keep him, a situation completely beyond his control. They described him as an immensely playful companion who brought joy and laughter to their lives daily. Despite the confusion of losing everything familiar, Maxwellโs wonderful personality is starting to shine through again. His previous family shared that Maxwell is house trained, crate trained, and capable of peacefully roaming the home. He has lived with both children and dogs, showing his adaptable and gentle nature. Currently at the shelter, Maxwell is dealing with anxiety stemming from the unfamiliar surroundings. Our dedicated team has seen him gradually open up, revealing the same lovable and goofy personality his family adored. Maxwell will thrive in a calm and quiet home with serene companions. Though he enjoys the company of other dogs, he does best with calmer breeds, as high-energy canines may overwhelm him. A child-free environment is recommended, as he can be a little jumpy around new people. With patience and understanding, Maxwell will reward his new family with undeniable loyalty and love. Maxwell is searching for a safe, loving home where he can unwind and be himself every day. He deserves a happy ending. Could you provide that? Adoption fee includes initial vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test, deworming, flea preventatives, and microchip. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
