About Rayna
Rayna has made it through a lot and still manages to be a gem. At 8 years old and 72 lbs, this spayed American Bulldog is more than ready to move on from her rough past. Lovepaws found her with bad skin, ear infections, and bad teeth—a classic case of someone who has been neglected far too long. After good vet care and plenty of attention, Rayna is finally healthy. She does need to stay on a special allergy diet and some medication, but she feels way better now and has healed up well. In her foster home on a farm near Rockville, MD, Rayna soaks up the country calm. She likes to sunbathe, gently supervise the sheep, and relax at her own pace. She’s good with sheep (yes, really), curious about chickens, and has not been tested with cats or children. She’s not a fan of other dogs, so she should be the only pet. While she’s mostly house trained, she’s still working on finalizing her leash skills and potty routine. Sudden movements and loud noises startle her—older, calm kids are a better match. Rayna is funny and affectionate. She loves toys, especially her red tumbler ball, and will lean into people for cuddles all day. Don’t let her age fool you; she still gets silly, loves to play, and will do a heartfelt stare-down for a snack or a snuggle. After years of surviving hard times, she deserves peace, comfort, and someone who sees her as something special. Let’s help Rayna finally have her shot at a soft landing. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
