About Bartley
Meet Bartley! This tiny little guy is beyond adorable. Although he can be a bit nervous at times, he's been sweet and loving with everyone he meets. Bartley is around 5-6 months old and weighs just 8.6 pounds. He has been identified as a mix of Miniature Pinscher and Chihuahua, though we suspect the Min Pin traits shine through the most. Already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, he is also heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Bartley is an easy companion, with a calm demeanor most of the time. He enjoys zoomies in the yard and has bursts of excitement—though sometimes he gets energetic at late-night potty breaks! He's a big baby who seeks out company and can be shy about new experiences, especially when it involves walking on a leash. His perfect day includes calm outings and lots of cuddles, but he would prefer to be carried rather than face the outdoor world on foot. This silly fellow has a playful relationship with the cat in his foster home, respecting her space while still trying to engage her in play. While he hasn't been fostered with young children, older kids who are gentle may suit him best since too much chaos might overwhelm him. Bartley is making strides with his potty training, but he does need regular opportunities to go outside, particularly after meals. He’s still working on leash training, requiring a secure harness for safety due to his nervousness. When it comes to sharing food or toys, he's shown no issues so far. Cuddly and affectionate, he loves to lick and lick, so if you're not a fan of slobbery kisses, he might not be for you! Overall, he's a sweet little guy with a need for reassurance and patience. With some time and love, Bartley will surely gain the confidence he needs. If you think you could offer Bartley the homes he’s waiting for, reach out and learn more about him!
