About Calypso
Meet Calypso. Calypso is a vibrant 6-month-old Chug, a mix of Chihuahua and Pug, weighing around 9 pounds. Found wandering near a junior high school with her sister, this little girl quickly won over hearts wherever she went. Having experienced life on the streets, she's now learning the joys of being loved and safe in a family setting. Her sister has found her forever home, and now it’s Calypso's turn to shine. Calypso gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, making her a great addition to any family. She’s confident, even with men and taller individuals. She expresses her feelings clearly when left alone—she's got opinions and isn’t shy about sharing them. But underneath her playful dramatics lies a deeply affectionate pup who craves companionship. She follows her favorite people from room to room and would prefer to lounge beside you all day. This little lady needs a loving home that understands that rescue dogs may require a bit of encouragement as they adjust. After looking out for her sister, she’s still learning that it’s okay to just be a puppy and enjoy the wonders of life. If you’re in search of a tiny shadow with an enormous heart and a bold personality, Calypso may be the perfect match. Click apply to start the adoption process.
