About Ginger
Ginger is currently being fostered in Centralia, WA, and her adoption fee is $350. This sweet, approximately 2-year-old mixed breed female weighs just under 30 pounds. She came to the rescue with her six adorable puppies, who are thriving in care. While her exact breed mix is a mystery, we do have entertaining DNA results from one of her puppies. Initially protective of her pups, Ginger's tough exterior faded quickly once she felt safe. She is an incredibly affectionate dog who loves snuggles, belly rubs, and following her foster mom around. Although she can be shy meeting new people, a little gentle affection and a treat can win her over. Once bonded, Ginger is deeply loyal and loving. Ginger is fully house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps quietly in her crate. She has mild separation anxiety, but she's not destructive. Ginger gets along well with dogs of all sizes and enjoys playing in the yard. She has shown no interest in the barn cats at her foster home, and she’s actually quite intimidated by the goats. She's respectful of the fencing too. Ginger is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been treated for fleas. She simply needs a family that will cherish her as their devoted companion and snuggle buddy. If you’re looking for a sweet friend to share your life with, Ginger could be the perfect match.
