About Baloo

Meet Baloo, a 6-year-old, 60-pound Chow Chow with a heart as big as his frame! Found as a stray in early April, he's become quite the charmer in foster care, showcasing his friendly nature and love for people. Baloo enjoys car rides and has a knack for giving his paw, making him quite the companion. He’s already potty trained and is open and friendly with strangers. While he gets along well with female dogs—he loves spending time with his friend Rescue Barbie—he does have a strong prey and cat drive, so a feline-free home may be best. Baloo can be a bit picky with his food, so tempting him with chicken and rice might help. His short coat is growing back, and he’s feeling great while waiting for his forever family. This big, happy boy is ready for adventures and the love he deserves. Baloo is currently fostered in Houston, TX, and transport can be arranged if you're not in the area. Your new best friend is just one click away.
