About Phoebe

Phoebe and her sisters were born outdoors when their mother was a stray cat. Thankfully, Good Mews Animal Foundation rescued them and provided a safe space until they were ready for adoption. Initially, Phoebe was unsure of humansโ€”taking a month in her foster home to feel comfortable being touched. Now, she's a purring bundle of joy during cuddle time and loves snuggling under the covers with her humans. Observant and thoughtful, Phoebe enjoys quietly playing with toys, especially balls and cat trees. She explores her surroundings at her own pace, sometimes hesitating at first, whether it's new experiences or even food. With patience and a few hand-fed treats, she comes around. Phoebe thrives in a calm environment and is most relaxed when things are gentle and quiet. After being adopted with her sister Prue, they were returned through no fault of their own, and now they're seeking a new, understanding home that will give them time to adjust. The previous adopter described them as shy, yet very sweet and cuddly. If you're looking for two loving companions to welcome into your life, consider adopting Phoebe and Prue together! In their former home, they did not get along with a dog, but in their foster environment, they coexisted well with an elderly dog. Any new family with a dog must commit to slow introductions.
