About Courage
Courage earned his name. He came from a TNR colony with a neck wound that made it unsafe to return him outdoors. Instead, he’s spent the past several months in private care, healing both physically and emotionally while learning that the indoor life might not be so scary after all. He’s still shy around loud noises and sudden movement, but in a calm space his personality shines. He loves jingly dangling toys, laser lights, and especially spring toys. Cardboard and paper don’t stand a chance around him. He’s incredibly curious about other cats and would likely thrive with a confident feline friend. Food-wise, he has opinions. He prefers his dry kibble and believes wet food is negotiable (we disagree moisture matters, sir). He is starting to enjoy Sheba kitten! His absolute favorite treat? Churu pops. Courage is affectionate on his terms and melts for chin scritches. He would do best with an experienced cat owner who understands that trust takes time and that the most meaningful bonds are built patiently. He’s looking for a quiet home, someone who enjoys puzzles, calm evenings, and earning the love of a very special cat.
