About Courage

Courage got his name for a reason. He came from a managed outdoor colony after sustaining a neck wound that meant returning to the street was out of the question. Instead, he's spent months in a private home learning what it means to feel safe indoors. Courage is still wary of sudden noises and quick movement, but gets comfortable and shows his sweeter side in a calm, predictable space. Jingly dangling toys, chasing laser dots, and especially spring toys are his thing. If you leave cardboard or paper out, expect destruction. He’s got a real interest in other catsβ€”he’d probably thrive with a confident feline buddy. Food is a negotiation topic for Courage. He’s opinionated and sticks to his dry kibble, but will dabble in wet food when the mood strikes, and he’s becoming a fan of Sheba kitten. His absolute favorite: Churu pops. He grants affection on his terms, but chin scritches are guaranteed to melt his composure. An experienced cat owner who understands that building trust takes patience is going to get the most out of this special guy. Courage suits someone who enjoys puzzles, quiet evenings, and the slow process of winning true feline loyalty. Courage is included in the Kitty Keeper program.
