About Beth
Meet Beth, a nearly 4-year-old German Shepherd/Catahoula mix, looking for a home that can offer the structure and calm she needs to truly thrive. Beth is house-trained, crate-trained, and has completed both obedience and behavior training, showing tremendous potential as a service dog before her anxiety made public access too stressful. She knows commands like sit, down, and bed, and she bonds closely with her people. Beth enjoys a consistent routine and thrives in a low-stimulation environment. She lives well with other dogs and currently cohabits with three cats without issues. However, busy environments can overwhelm her, and she has some challenges with resource guarding and anxiety, especially around young children. As a result, a home without young kids would be ideal. An owner experienced with working breeds would be best suited to help her flourish. It's heartbreaking for her current family to part ways, but they’re committed to finding her the perfect match, where she can be happy and safe. If you think you can provide the right environment for Beth, we’d love to share more about her journey. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
