Tavern is a large mixed breed dog with both Catahoula Leopard Dog and Labrador Retriever heritage. He is a baby and already neutered, currently located in Poland, IN. His young age means he’s still growing, and he’s looking for a home that suits his size and energy.

About Tavern

Tavern is a striking young pup who, along with his siblings Juniper and Fern, had a rough start but hasn't let that dull his spirit. Found in a cramped crate on the side of Hwy 42, Tavern is now looking for a place to call home. He's a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Labrador Retriever mix, blending both loyalty and energy, with a classic large-breed presence. Tavern is still a baby and available for foster-to-adopt until he is neutered at 5 months of age. Adopters need a securely fenced yard and must be prepared to welcome Tavern as a true member of their household—no outdoor kennels or underground fencing allowed. Apartment dwellers may be considered if the fit is right. All meetings are scheduled by appointment. Click apply to start the adoption process.
