About Benson
Meet Benson, a sweet and gentle soul! After a tough experience being hit by a car in Texas, he underwent a leg amputation and has since learned that humans can bring good things, like treats and air conditioning. Benson is friendly with other dogs and indifferent to cats. He’s house trained, enjoys car rides, and has been well-behaved at vet visits. True to his Great Pyrenees heritage, he’s more of an observer than a clingy companion. He’s happiest being in the same room as you, quietly keeping an eye on things without seeking constant attention. His ideal home would be calm and low-traffic, with children over 12 who respect boundaries, as loud, rambunctious little ones might overwhelm him. As a tripod, he’d appreciate a home with minimal stairs for comfort, but don’t let that fool you; he gets around just fine. Benson prefers a slower-paced life over exciting adventures. He’s not looking for thrills but rather a peaceful spot to relax. Benson is currently in Nashville, TN but can travel anywhere Big Fluffy Dog Rescue operates. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
