Previously coming from a large hoarding situation with many other dogs, Tootsie now seeks a patient, understanding family who will give her the space to blossom. Although shy and hesitant with human contact, she's slowly discovering how to trust and has made fantastic progress in her foster home. She's even started choosing to sleep close to her foster family and will ask for belly rubs, showing her readiness for a forever home. Tootsie thrives in a calm environment where she can take her time. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a confident canine companion to guide her. Well-acquainted with doggie doors and washable pee pads, she’s set for a smooth transition to her new home. Tootsie's playful side shines as she loves her toys and has a funny habit of collecting shoes. Gentle by nature, Tootsie retreats instead of showing aggression, making her suitable for households with older children who can respect her need for space.
