About Quinoa
Meet Quinoa! Quinoa is a tiny pint-sized gremlin eagerly looking for a forever family that will embrace his quirky spirit. This three-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs just under 8 lbs, making him wonderfully small and full of charm. Sadly, he was found as a stray with no owner coming forward, but now he’s ready to steal your heart. At first, Quinoa may seem a bit suspicious of newcomers, but give him three seconds and his goofy personality shines through. While he doesn't quite grasp commands like 'sit'—instead opting for a playful dance on his hind legs—he’s a delight on a leash. Just a heads up, his small size can make him a bit of a tripping hazard, so keep that in mind if you need to be steady on your feet. Quinoa is sociable with other dogs but can come off as an "annoying little brother," so any canine companions should be at least tolerant. He has a bit of a dominant streak, which extends to cats, so any that live with him should be able to handle his personality. We recommend a home with kids aged 10 and up since his small size makes him vulnerable, and we’re unsure how he’d act around younger children. If you think you can make room for this little weirdo in your life, don’t hesitate to reach out! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
