About Duncan The Little Explorer
Duncan The Little Explorer is a Westie/Norfolk Terrier mix with a puppy’s spirit and a survivor’s heart. He started his journey alone, but now he charges through life, tail wagging as if every moment’s a party. At about 13 pounds now and likely to top out around 22-25 pounds, Duncan’s got the right size to fit into city apartments or big family homes alike. His coat is soft and thick, mostly white and golden, and he’s a fan of every toy you put in front of him. He picks up on affection quickly, nestles instantly into laps, and looks for every excuse to soak up kindness. Duncan loves the company of other dogs and shares his toys and food with zero fuss. Play comes naturally, and when he hears “treat,” he barrels forward with the excitement only a puppy can muster. He’s just getting started with potty training but is already showing quick instincts, especially with a yard. Duncan greets people and dogs with a belly-low wiggle and prefers to always be in the middle of things. He will be neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are current. He’s being fostered near Houston, TX, and can be transported monthly to adopters in other regions—home visits via video chat can be arranged. He’s not on-site but comes with support and clear info for his move. Looking for a bright, loyal companion who dives headfirst into life’s adventures and cuddles just as hard? This little guy is waiting for the person who’ll see the world the way he does. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
