About Duncan The Little Explorer
Duncan The Little Explorer is a Westie/Norfolk Terrier mix who started life alone but quickly learned to celebrate every day. At just around 13 pounds and expected to max out at 22–25 pounds, Duncan is ideal for both couch cuddles and busy outings. His medium white and golden coat is thick and soft, perfect for anyone who likes a tactile pup. At only two months old, Duncan has a keen curiosity and a gentle spirit. He wiggles right up to you, tail swishing low, waiting to be part of the group. He’s playful with other dogs, eagerly shares food and toys, and dashes after treats with comical puppy enthusiasm. Potty training is well in progress thanks to yard access. Duncan genuinely enjoys meeting new dogs and finds comfort and belonging curled up with his person. He is gentle, affectionate, and approached the world with trust and optimism despite his tough beginnings. Duncan will be neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations before adoption. He’s open to families with dog-loving energy and patience to help him adjust; a home with a yard or regular access to outdoor time is a plus. Duncan is currently near Houston, TX, but can ride professional rescue transport to adopters out of town. He’s ready to give all his love to someone who’s ready to let him in. As an Aries born on April 1, expect a spirited, adventurous companion with a spark for life. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
