About Lincoln
Lincoln is a 7-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a gentle spirit and about five pounds of charm. You’ll find him docile most of the day, content with quiet company and drawn to good food and affection. Lincoln can be a little reserved at first, but he grows braver each day—offering kisses and slowly showing his playful side once he feels safe. He prefers laying close to his people, but he’ll happily join in for attention and brief play sessions when comfortable. Lincoln gets along well with other small dogs thanks to his calm, easygoing nature. Because of his delicate size, he’s best suited to homes with older, respectful children. His interactions with cats haven’t been tested, but his laid-back temperament suggests he could adjust in the right environment. Lincoln is crate trained and will use puppy pads, which helps smooth the transition to a new home, though he’s still working on leash walking. He'd do best with a securely fenced yard and a patient adopter willing to help him build confidence outside. Lincoln is looking for a home where patience and kindness are the norm, and where his gentle heart can grow even bigger. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Lincoln
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Lincoln, as a Yorkshire Terrier mix, is best suited for indoor living, ideally in a calm and stable environment where he feels secure. Compact homes or apartments work as long as he receives plenty of attention and a safe spot to relax.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Yorkshire Terriers like Lincoln do well with limited outdoor space, such as a securely fenced yard or even short walks, since they’re small and exercise needs are modest. A compact yard works fine for him.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Lincoln's breed is generally fine with older children who understand how to handle small, delicate dogs. Homes with very young kids may not be ideal, as Yorkshire Terriers can be fragile.
