About Blue
Blue is a 3-year-old neutered male Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger energy level. Always ready for adventure, he's happiest when he's got plenty of room to run, chase tennis balls, and carry his favorite squeaky toys. Blue is a master at digging holes and will keep you entertained with his goofy antics. Fully house and crate trained, he does well on a leash, pausing often to investigate every new scent along the way. He loves other dogs and enjoys rowdy play, though he's still learning not every companion wants a nonstop wrestling match. Blue does well with kids but his excitement can make him jump, so he's still working on house manners and polite greetings. He hasn't lived with cats, so that's unknown. This extroverted, curious dog gets very excited when people arrive and sometimes barks with enthusiasm. He's famously messy when drinking water and thinks nothing of sharing a wet muzzle with your legs for added affection. His foster family is teaching him better manners and polite play, but his loving, adventurous spirit already shines through. If you're looking for a lively, fun companion who's always ready to play fetch or explore, Blue could be your perfect match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
