About Nancy Drew
Nancy Drew is one of the Detective-themed puppies who arrived at the rescue at just six weeks old. Now about two months old and weighing only around three pounds, she’s thriving in her foster home, filling every day with bursts of play, puppy kisses, and energy. Nancy Drew gets along well with other dogs—she enjoys her sibling and the adult dog in her foster home—and she’s also been good with the resident cat. Because of her small size, she should meet any children first, with extra care around very young kids. She loves belly rubs, exploring, and the fun challenge of discovering which things are okay to chew (slippers are a favorite). Training is all ahead of her: she’s done well with crate time and is learning paper training, but will still need a patient family willing to handle her early puppy habits, guidance, and outdoor potty training. Her confidence and sociability stand out—everyone is a potential friend, though she finds the vacuum rather suspicious. Nancy Drew isn’t yet spayed; at her size, she’ll have that taken care of in a few months with the rescue. She’s started her puppy shots, and her vaccinations are up to date. Local adopters only, as she’ll need to return for her spay appointment. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
