About Hopper
Hopper is a young, medium-sized shepherd mix in Williamsport, PA, with a short tricolor coat. At just 8 months old, he’s still building his confidence. Hopper can be unsure in new situations and tends to show signs of anxiety and restlessness, especially at first. He warms up quickly to kind people and looks for companionship when uncertain. Hopper is particular about treats—he'll turn his nose up at anything he considers low-value. He doesn't know many commands yet but is eager to learn and responds well to gentle redirection. He’s interested in toys and play but loses interest quickly. Hopper isn’t yet house trained. With other dogs, he may do well if introductions are handled slowly and thoughtfully. He could live with children around 8 or older, depending on the match. At this time, Hopper is not yet neutered; adoption will be finalized on or after June 26, 2026. Born September 14, he’s a thoughtful Virgo—expect a dog who notices details. He is current on vaccinations. Ready to start a new chapter? Click apply to start the adoption process.
