Minnie is a small female rat terrier, estimated at about two years old and currently in Washington, DC. She has been spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. She’s known to be dog friendly and is looking for an adopter who will help her gain confidence as she settles into her new home after her journey from Puerto Rico.

About Minnie

Minnie is a sweet, resilient little rat terrier mix who’s just wrapped up her job as mom to a litter of healthy pups. She’s around two years old, weighs about 17 pounds, and is settling into young adulthood with curiosity and heart. Minnie gets along well with other dogs and will do great with a companion or a family committed to walks, play, and plenty of dog park time. Coming from Puerto Rico, the adjustment to her new home may take some patience – strong socialization and gentle guidance will be key. She didn’t get much chance to explore the world before now, but she’s eager for adventure, sniffy walks, and, most of all, a sense of belonging. Loyal and affectionate, Minnie’s ready to give back every ounce of the love she receives. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
