About Jasper
Jasper is a 1 1/2-year-old Wheaten Terrier who has packed a lot into his young life. He landed in the Lancaster shelter after life as a stray, so tangled and dirty that he was almost overlooked entirely. Shelter staff and volunteers rallied behind Jasper, pushing for more time, and it’s lucky they did—he’s a gentle, joyful friend who didn’t deserve to be skipped. Jasper’s temperament is easygoing and happy from the start. He loves tearing around the yard with the zoomies, plays well with other dogs, and is calm and patient with children. He meets people and passing dogs with tail wags and curiosity. Affection comes naturally—Jasper likes cuddling on the couch and leans in for belly rubs whenever he gets the chance. Housebreaking was never an issue for him. He’s been vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and he feels at home wherever his people are. Jasper would do well in an active household, especially one with a yard and either other playful dogs or kids for company. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
