About Dahlia
Dahlia is a Black Lab mix with a lot of heart and an equally powerful playful streak. At about 44 lbs and with her medium black coat, she brings joy and energy into every space she enters. Once found living under a house with her newborn puppies, Dahlia defied the odds—she kept her pups safe until rescue, and after a last-minute miracle saved her, she’s been thriving in foster care. Now she’s searching for a committed, loving family to call her own. This sweet girl is fueled by a love of adventure and a desire to make friends, both human and animal. She’s dog, cat, and kid friendly, is kennel and potty trained, uses a doggy door, and is learning leash skills. Dahlia still has a young dog’s curiosity and occasional rambunctious streak, so she’ll need toys, enrichment, and a family ready to reinforce her training. She thrives in the company of other animals and people who understand the perks and quirks of a bright, social pup. Her adoption includes up-to-date vaccinations, a microchip, and she is already spayed. Dahlia is located in Houston, TX, with transport available as needed. Ready to meet your new best friend?
