At approximately 5 years old and 38 pounds, she has the perfect balance of playful energy and calm companionship. This beautiful girl was found as a stray while caring for her puppies. She was in rough shape when she was rescued, but with love, care, and dedication from her foster, Lilley Kay has made an incredible transformation and is now healthy, happy, and thriving. Lilley Kay is house-trained and confidently uses a dog door. She has excellent house manners and has never been destructive indoors. She’s eager to please, responds well to correction, and truly enjoys being part of a family. While she may occasionally “borrow” a shoe or sock, she doesn’t chew them…she simply likes to curl up and sleep with them nearby. She loves other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Although she can be a little reserved when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, she warms up with patience and quickly shows her affectionate nature. Once she trusts you, you’ll discover a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Lilley Kay still has a playful side and can run surprisingly fast, but her favorite place is right beside you… preferably curled up in your lap for snuggles. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
