About Malva

Malva is a 3-4 month old German Shepherd/Terrier mix puppy based in Lemont, IL. Bursting with classic puppy energy, she's eager to play, explore, and soak up the world around her. You’ll often catch her making new discoveries, bonding with people, or chasing her favorite toys. Malva’s temperament is remarkable—she gets along beautifully with other dogs, is open to learning to live with cats, and truly shines around children. Her friendliness carries over to strangers, too. Like any young pup, Malva will need a family prepared for her training journey. She’s still working on crate and potty training, so patience and daily consistency matter. Socialization and positive reinforcement are key to helping her grow into a well-mannered, confident companion. A home willing to provide love, structure, and plenty of enrichment is the best fit for this clever, playful girl. The rescue asks only for adopters ready to bring a new companion home within five days of approval. Malva is available for meet-and-greets in Chicago’s southwest suburbs by appointment only after your adoption application is approved. Click apply to start the adoption process.
