About Fox
Fox curled up like a woodland fox the minute he arrived. He came in as a stray and was never claimed, so now he’s looking for a new family to call his own. At about a year and a half old and weighing under 20 pounds, Fox is thought to be a spaniel mix—though nobody knows for sure, and it doesn’t really matter since he’s undeniably cute. Those first few days, Fox really did live up to his escape artist reputation. He tore out of his kennel the minute there was an opening. Now, thanks to some training and patience, he waits his turn and greets volunteers with polite excitement. Fox walks easily on leash and has nailed crate training, making him a relatively easy dog to transition into home life. He’s social, friendly, and gets along with other animals and people. With Fox, you get all the small-dog charm, cleverness, and cuddliness you’d expect, minus the drama. If you’ve been searching for a little companion with real personality, he’s as sweet as they come.
