About Mocha
Mocha is a small, muscular Pointer and Staffy mix with a striking chocolate brown and white coat, sprinkled with Pointer freckles and a bold white nose stripe. Her compact frame hits around 45 pounds, but her energy and spirit make her feel much bigger. In the yard, she comes alive—sprinting, chasing toys, and running with other dogs, eager to be the center of attention. Mocha is intelligent and has solid basic training, especially her 'sit', and handles leash walks well. She can be selective with other dogs and prefers to remind them she's in charge if things get too rowdy. Mocha does take time to trust new people, but once she does, her loyalty and affection run deep. She had a tough past and still needs someone experienced and patient to help her work through lingering traumas. Mocha's protective streak comes out with unfamiliar folks, but her primary need is simply to feel safe and be loved. Her ready-for-anything attitude, sweet brown eyes, and loving nature make her an unforgettable companion for someone able to give her the guidance and stability she missed before.
