About Tux
Meet Tux, also known as Agent Tux—a master of evasion with a knack for winning hearts. His early days were rough, skirting through Arizona heat and dodging anyone who tried to help. After days of outwitting the best, he was finally convinced to surrender thanks to the irresistible combination of patience and turkey. It didn’t take long to uncover the real Tux: a black-and-white Shepherd mix with a long-neglected coat and a guarded spirit. No owner or microchip ever turned up, but every day, Tux builds a little more trust. He's developed an appreciation for leisurely walks and has come to expect his daily brushing and those all-important booty scritches. At just over three years old and around 35 pounds, Tux is a classic mid-sized Shepherd mix looking for more than just his next assignment—he wants a safe place to call home. Currently at a boarding facility in Phoenix, Tux is searching for a foster or forever family who will give him the chance to relax and, for once, be off-duty.
