Rocky is a medium-sized Golden Retriever with a lovely golden coat and a fun-loving, adult spirit. He is a house trained, male dog who will soon be neutered and is already microchipped and fully vaccinated. Rocky calls Athens, TX home for now, eagerly waiting for his next family. His medium-length fur is soft to the touch and makes him a joy to cuddle with.

About Rocky

Rocky is a 1.5-year-old, pure-bred Golden Retriever with the classic happy-go-lucky personality the breed is known for. Raised in a loving home since puppyhood, Rocky had to move only because of a family allergy. He absolutely adores children, having lived with them all his life, and enjoys the company of other dogs at the park even though he has never shared a home with a canine sibling. Rocky brings together that trademark goofy charm, a love for people, and eager-to-please loyalty. Crate and house trained, he also knows several helpful commands like "sit," "inside," "paw," and will do his business on cue. Rocky does great on car rides, is good on leash, though still learning not to pull, and finds joy in all toys and attention he receives. He’s microchipped and current on vaccinations, and his neuter is already scheduled. If you want a loyal, affectionate, playful companion who is wonderful with kids and has a fantastic disposition, Rocky will exceed your expectations. Every animal deserves a happy ending.
