About Rocky
Rocky is just seven weeks old and is everything you want in a puppy—gentle, incredibly soft, and always ready to snuggle. He’s going through all the typical puppy phases, including some chewing and playful nipping, but he redirects his attention easily and is picking up on commands like sit and come already. Rocky tends to stick close when he’s somewhere new, leaning on his person for reassurance, but he settles in quickly and gets comfortable in new environments. He’s great with kids and gets along well with other dogs. Rocky hasn’t met any cats yet. He’s still working on potty and leash training, though he’s already crate trained and clever during learning sessions. With a projected adult weight of 40-50lbs, Rocky should fit right in with most families who have some space for playtime. He’s currently being fostered in Richmond, VA, is up-to-date on puppy vaccinations, dewormed, and already on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee covers future neutering, microchipping, and all necessary vaccinations at the approved age. Because of the spay/neuter requirement, adopters should be reasonably close to Richmond or Virginia Beach to complete the process at one of the rescue’s clinics.
