About Pop
Pop is a fun-loving, medium-sized Siberian Husky mix with an infectious zest for life. At six months old, he's already showing a lot of heart. Pop can be easily intimidated by new sights and sounds, but his curiosity wins out, and he's learning that the world can be pretty exciting. House training is going well for him; just stick to a schedule, and he’ll be on point. Pop spends his nights content in his crate. He knows “sit” reliably and is picking up “off,” “leave it,” and “drop it,” though he may get overly excited—he just wants to greet people and give plenty of kisses. Walks with Pop are an adventure; he’s discovering new smells and sights, sometimes reluctant to move on, but always making progress. His voice is another discovery; lately, he’s been practicing his bark to communicate. Pop is highly food motivated and loves brain-teasing treats, especially when delivered in a kong. Squeaky and tug toys are favorites, and for all his energy, he’s a softie at heart, happily cuddling up for a belly rub when playtime is over. While Pop gets along great with other dogs and children, he is not a match for homes with cats. If you’re looking for a happy, exuberant young dog who’s eager to learn and full of love, Pop is waiting in Savage, MN for the right family to shape his bright future. Your new best friend is just one click away.
