Yuki is a Siberian Husky/Husky mix in Blaine, MN, around five and a half years old with a lovely light isabella white coat. She is spayed and her vaccinations are current. Yuki has a medium build and is housebroken, doing well when left to free roam in a secure, dog-proof home. She cannot be placed with cats due to a strong prey drive, but is trustworthy with most dogs, especially playful males. She’s calm in the house and needs a fenced yard to enjoy her outdoor time safely.

About Yuki

Yuki is a husky mix with an adventurous spirit and a big personality. She thrives in the company of other dogs, especially energetic males, and loves rambunctious play time in a secure yard. Yuki has a history of crate stress and does best with free roam at home as long as the environment is husky-proof—she’s trusted alone, but being crated for long periods is not for her. Her prey drive means she is not suitable for homes with cats, and she needs careful supervision with smaller kids, as fast movements make her anxious. Older, calmer children suit her best. Her socialization and leash manners are coming along, and she knows her basics, but she’ll benefit from further confidence-building. Like many huskies, Yuki is a talker and will answer neighborhood dogs with her own howl. She enjoys both zoomies and nap time, delights in belly rubs, and can be persistent about demanding affection—belly up, pawing gently for more. Her husky coat sheds less than most, thanks to its shorter length, but she’ll need regular brushing. Yuki would do best with a fenced yard of at least 4 feet (6 feet is safer) and with adopters who understand husky quirks, escape artistry, and her need for exercise and supervision outside. She’s shy in new situations, so ongoing socialization matters. Her ideal adopter is an active, mature person or family ready to help her explore the world and keep her safe. Yuki was born November 15th, making her a Scorpio—a sign known for loyalty and curiosity. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
