About Enzo
Enzo is a loyal, curious German Shepherd with a big heart and a lot of love for his people. He came to the shelter after his previous owner was forced to move and couldn’t bring him along, so he’s been finding shelter life a bit tough. This guy really wants to be included in family life and would do best in a home where someone can spend plenty of time with him. Enzo’s sweet and affectionate side comes out once he gets comfortable, but he needs patient people who know the ins and outs of caring for a large breed dog. He’s food-motivated, eager to please, and sharp, especially with people he trusts—typical German Shepherd traits. New or unfamiliar situations can make him a bit anxious at first. Enzo is potty-trained, and he’d prefer a home with respectful, dog-savvy kids aged 8 and up. He might do well with another dog if it’s the right fit, though any intros should be slow and supervised through the shelter. Apartment living isn’t for him; Enzo needs some room to stretch his legs and enjoys an active lifestyle. His ideal adopters will understand everything that comes with having a large dog: exercise, enrichment, quality food, consistent vet care, and the ability to provide plenty of structure and love.
