About Extra Toes Equinox
Equinox is a polydactyl kitten who started life in comfort after his mother was rescued from harsh winter conditions. As the only kitten in his litter, he's had the full focus of both his mom and his foster family, and it shows: he's thriving, healthy, and outgoing. With striking black and white tuxedo markings and an unmistakable black spot on his nose, he's not short on charisma. His oversized paws—thanks to extra toes—make him look even more unique. Equinox has a playful streak and surprising athleticism for his age. He plays fetch, chases his tail, and investigates every nook and cranny of his environment. He’s people-oriented, enjoys cuddling, and will happily be carried around the house. Equinox seeks plenty of company and craves both feline and human interaction. He needs a home with another young cat or kitten for companionship—he won't be adopted out as a solo cat. While he hasn’t yet met dogs or children, he is curious and social, and will likely adapt given a patient introduction. Equinox is litter trained and already started on his FVRCP vaccine series. He will be neutered, microchipped, and further vetted soon. He’s currently fostered in Stamford, CT, and will be ready to join his new home after weaning. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
