Meet Little Bear and Blueberry, a super sweet and easygoing brother and sister due who are about 9 months old. These two were born in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City and found crying in a cardboard box on the street. They were thankfully rescued and are now ready for their forever home! They are very neat, well behaved, and relatively calm older kittens. Little Bear is a big boy with adorable chunky paws and thick, fuzzy fur. He is a very dignified and handsome gentleman with a single tuft of white on his chest. With his larger size, big paws, and gentle demeanor, he reminds his foster of a little baby black bear - hence his name! He is a huge sweetheart who loves to rub up against your legs, enjoys being pet, and likes to greet you when he sees you! One of his favorite activities is sitting on the windowsill and looking out the window at all the birds and squirrels sitting in the trees. He also loves a good hidey-hole or tunnel. Little Bear is a bit shy and timid at first, and might benefit from a quieter environment - at least until he gets comfortable. But once he's comfortable he will come out and greet you and ask for pets and snuggles! He even likes to give kisses and get tummy rubs! Blueberry is a bolder and more petite kitty than her brother. She has sleek fur and long legs, making her very elegant. She barely needs any warm-up time before she is ready to explore, starts asking for pets, and wants to play and spend time with her humans. While Blueberry is not a huge lap cat, she very much enjoys human company and would probably spend a lot of time curled up nearby on a chair or sofa. She also really loves attention and will head butt you to give her more pets - she can't get enough pets! Additionally, she likes to be picked up - perhaps in part because it gives her a great vantage point to see new things! Blueberry is a very curious kitty, who is always looking for new places to explore and discover. She loves to climb and would therefore love a nice cat tree or window bed. She also really loves taking naps in the sunshine and would appreciate a cozy blanket or bed to stretch out on and snooze. Little Bear and Blueberry are a bonded pair, who love to sleep and snuggle together, play together, sit in the window together, and lounge around near each other. They are good with other cats and although we don't know for sure, may also be good with calmer, well trained dogs as well. They will need a quiet space to acclimate to their new home, and may benefit from a home without young children - older, calmer children may be a good fit however! Little Bear and Blueberry are litter box-trained, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv negative, and have received regular anti-tick/flea/parasite preventatives.
