About Rosie

Rosie is a 4-year-old Mountain Cur/American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a big soft spot for everyone—cats, dogs, and even toddlers. She came into rescue after being found at a Petco with her puppies, who were sadly taken by someone else, leaving Rosie behind. Since then, she’s shown nothing but gentleness and resilience. Rosie’s chill personality makes her a laid-back companion, and she loves to play with other dogs—especially her foster’s German Shepherd. She's affectionate, picks up new things quickly, and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Rosie thrives with company and would do best in a home where she isn’t left alone most of the day, or where she can go to daycare. A second dog in the home would make her happiest. She’s fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, house trained, and on regular preventatives. Her foster reports that Rosie is as sweet as they come—and smart, too, always looking to please. She's currently fostered in Texas but can travel to approved homes, including in Canada. Yards must be solidly fenced (no electric or underground fencing). This girl is ready to love and be loved in return. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
