Chewbacca
AvailableChewbacca is a small, adult Shih Tzu and Yorkshire Terrier mix with a medium apricot and brown coat. He is male and not yet neutered, but vaccinations are up to date. Chewbacca is currently not house trained and is in Winsted, CT. Though his start was rough, he’s receiving great care and is almost ready for a new family.
About Chewbacca
Chewbacca has a look that matched his name before his recent haircut. After losing his owner, Chewbacca found himself without a home, but he’s landed with a rescue that’s getting him back on track. He’s a small Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix, around three or four years old and about 14 pounds. When he arrived, Chewbacca wasn’t in the best shape: his skin was dry and patchy, and his nails had grown painfully into his paw pads. Thanks to some good vet care, he’s gotten the works—rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP+Lepto, a microchip, and a full exam. Neutering is set, and after that he’ll be adoption-ready. Chewbacca is calm, gentle, and easy to have around. He gets along well with other dogs and has an easygoing, quiet presence. No aggression here, just a small, sweet dog with a kind temperament. He’s still working on house training but comes with a clean vet bill and a mellow personality. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
