About Bella
Bella is a 6-pound senior chihuahua based in Pelham, NH, looking for a soft, quiet place to spend her golden years. After her former owner faced hardship, Bella found her way to rescue, still full of sweetness and longing for security. At 16, she’s gentle and easygoing, content with slow walks, cozy beds, and simply being near those who care for her. She can be a bit timid at first, but once settled, she’s a devoted companion who wants to be by your side as much as possible. Bella is happiest with someone home most of the day. Her days vary—sometimes she wants only her bed, other times she’s up poking around the house or enjoying a slow walk with her harness. She’s well-mannered, does well going outdoors or using pee pads, and is comfortable relaxing close by or perched quietly on her own. Car rides and new environments rarely ruffle her calm. Bella gets along well with other respectful, low-energy dogs, and also does fine with cats and children. Ideally, her forever home is peaceful. Due to age and health, spay surgery isn’t recommended. Bella has only a few teeth, so soft and wet food gives her comfort. She’s not seeking big adventures—just kindness, stability, and someone willing to honor and love her in her final chapters. If you believe in giving seniors the best, Bella could be the heart you’ve been missing. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
