About Cocoa
Cocoa is a Shih Tzu mix rescued with her siblings after their loving family faced unexpected hardship. She’s a cautious, curious young female who takes her time settling in, but once comfortable, her sweet and gentle personality shines. Cocoa has a beautiful dark chocolate coat and a bright, funny spark—she’s smart, picks things up quickly, and brings real personality to her circle once she trusts. She bonds tightly and craves closeness with her people, happiest as a loyal velcro dog reveling in belly rubs. New sights—stairs, toys, or even home life—are all learning curves for her, but she greets them patiently, and a steady routine helps her feel safe. Cocoa needs a calm and committed home ready to invest a bit of time and patience. She would do best in a house with a yard, as apartment and condo settings can overwhelm her. Quiet households without children are ideal, and she’s proven friendly with both dogs (especially the mellow kind) and cats. Leash walking is new, but she’s coming along fast, and crate training is underway. Housetraining is going well so long as her routine stays consistent. With space and gentle care in Kimberton, PA, Cocoa will reward you tenfold with trust, warmth, and loyalty. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
